My ideal holiday: Sleeping and waking up at obscene times, having late lunches/early dinners, drinking gallons of coffee and doing absolutely nothing. It's come to a point where we wake up two hours before the stores close, look for food at late night places in Chinatown for our second meal of the day, supper. It's just what I needed, a clean break from the life that has become much too familiar at home and it just makes me all the more convinced that I am quite cut out for the life here, although I am aware that holidaying here and actually living here could be two totally different things altogether. I still can't escape the fact that there'll still be this inevitable void I have to fill when I get home, the one of incapacitation, and loneliness I can't rid myself of even in the company of friends. Adrian's looking over my shoulder. :) The sun is going to rise in less than an hour, we sleep only when the birds start to chirp.
