Because Livejournal is down. And it feels like I've been locked out of my own house.

I went to the MPH warehouse sale at the Expo today, picked up 5 gems for $27; Michael Cunningham's The Hours, Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake, Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake, Haruki Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, and Tim Winton's Dirt Music.

It'll be a long time before I get to read any of that though.

I'm not used to writing here, not feeling particularly inspired. Shall go off to do my readings.
